Advanced Integrative Therapy - Depths Seminar

Asha Clinton, LCSW, Ph.D. - Chapel Hill

Within each of us lies a profound and often unconscious territory composed of introjects, objects, inner figures, archetypes and, in some cases, alters. These unknown parts of our beings are capable of unfortunate activity until they are made conscious and treated. In AIT Depths we enter this deep realm learning first about the nature of these various parts of the unconscious. Then we learn protocols that synthesize traditional psychotherapeutic methods with energy psychology in order to transform negatively constellated parts into positive, dynamic aspects of our clients’ psyches. We end by learning two protocols that transform negative transferences and countertransferences quickly into real and present connections.

Among the protocols included are:

  • The Parts Protocol
  • The Active Imagination Protocol
  • Disempowering Negative Parts
  • Turning the Part Toward the Light
  • The Transference and Direct Countertransference Protocol

Testimonials for AIT Depths:

“The work is innovative, comprehensive, and demonstrably powerful. You cannot spend three days with Asha Clinton and not learn some very worthwhile things. The single most impressive feature may be the work’s comprehensiveness.”

“In this seminar, not only are parts of the psyche made real but a thorough method for treating their negativity is presented. I left feeling confident that I had both the conceptual understanding of archetypes, objects, introjects, and alters, and the methods to use in my practice.”  Nathaniel Branden, Ph.D. Author of “The Six Pillars of Self-Esteem”
